Parabolas of silence.
Once again, Parra shows us some tales written from his most sorrowful humanity, full of personal details, joys and bitternesses with a clear prose; similar to the look of a bird of prey. The main characters of stories, such as The innocent Saints or The room at the back play with their possibilities of love and forgiveness as if life were a game of cards.
All and each of the characters of the nine different tales which this book is made of, will leave a special mark to all those people who read them. Some of them will frighten us, others will make us feel pity for them and others; will simply astonish us as they rebel as our own reflection.
