The route of the skeleton.
This moving story is basically a report about the collapse of a country. It is a meticulous, exhaustive and objective work through which the author moves us back with his particular narrative to the black hours before the coup´état took place in Chile. It also describes the following hours.
It is a great book and very touching from its first page. It shows us the pain and violence of these events by the hand of a political activist who; after having witnessed in first person the pursuit which caused great bloodshed in the streets in Santiago and having suffered continuous pursuits, ends his days fighting between life and death in a lonely and grey tanatory in a northeast area, in Great Britain.
